The Truth About “White Foods”

“White Foods” are indeed healthy for the body when losing weight and strengthening abs. Truth About Abs mentions this on their webpage. While the webpage says that white bread and refined sugars are not good for the body, and should be avoided at all costs, it is ok to eat white foods, such as potatoes, onions, garlic, cauliflower, and white mushrooms,

All of these foods are considered carbohydrates, and the book says that these foods are good for the body, especially when trying to gain 6-pack abs. Potatoes, for instance, are a healthy carb, even though it has a high glycemic index, it is still ok to eat them the RIGHT way: anything but fried. Another good example of a healthy “white” food is Cauliflower. Cauliflower has vitamin C, fiber, minerals, and is in the same family as broccoli, and cabbage. Mushrooms are high in antioxidants. Finally, the truth about abs book says that onions have anti-inflammatory properties, and it has been said that people who live to be over 100 have eaten onions all of their life.
